Everybody comments on fanbases being illiterate but I’ve never observed so many missing prepositions in a comments section than on deadspin.

As I was leaving the playoff game with my wife and brother we spotted a maybe 10 yo boy with his dad, looking down trodden and heartbroken. I told him, “Get used to this buddy, this is Chiefs fandom. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.” His dad just nodded in sad acknowledgment as we made our way down the spiral ramp.

So much this. My dad is in to old Fords so he thinks it sacrilege to put power disc on a car that came with standard drums. Or an electric fan on a 65 Falcon.
