Well, Long Halloween was a piece of shit, so… I mean, that's like, just my opinion, man, but yeah. Even his "really great" stuff.

How do you keep up the news like that?
I figure. I just picked up the Knights of the Nine quest, my next stop is the priory. Sometime after I'm all kitted out in crusader armor I'll go to Kvatch and start he ball rolling. Or maybe I'll just ignore the damn thing. There's plenty of other stuff to do.
I have a strict "No Jeph Loeb" policy, but I still read the OWW main title. I worked in a comic shop, it was kind of my job to stay informed. It was as stupid and pointless a crossover as has ever been published, the lasting effects of which are clearly nil. I avoid "events" like the plague these days.
I'm doing my second playthrough of Oblivion. It was tough to go back to after spending several years in Skyrim, Fallout, Fallout:New Vegas, etc. but it's still a beautiful game. I have so far avoided Kvatch and leveled up only to 10, but accumulating lots and lots of silly little side adventures. And doing stuff I…
Yes. I still remember the first time I picked a direction and went walking and how long it took me to hit the invisible wall I assumed I would bump into in minutes. And how much cool stuff I stumbled across on the way. My head asplode, as the kids say.
Upvoted for TORG.
He is! He did a signing for the shop I worked in around that time. Well, at the other store. I didn't get to go because I had to mind the one that didn't have a signing… but Phil still stopped by and shook my hand!
I don't think so… they might have tried a fake-out…Jonathan was eventually murdered by Brainiac during Geoff Johns' run, although Martha was kept around because Johns loves Richard Donner so much.
Considering most of them are also against shooting at cops - yet keep their guns in case they ever need to shoot at cops - I don't think self-introspection or awareness is really in their wheelhouse.
Oh, Snyder? I will watch from afar, then.
I have no knowledge of this, but I do like Hawkman (or, versions of him, at least). What's the gist?
I've been re-reading the Phil Jimenez run on Wonder Woman from 2001 or thereabouts. The art is gorgeous. The scripts are a bit wordy, even with dialogue help from guys like DeMatteis and other regular comic scribes, and the run is also marred by mandated crossover events. I'm in the midst of "Our Worlds at War" right…
Once in a while, the letters page to Dragon would publish a letter wherein someone gushed about how much they loved Moore in the latest Jimmy Bond flick. Good times.
Should have listened to Barnum.
It's the guy who keeps saying "Ni!", right? I hate that guy too.
Did he do his "Spanish Fly" bit?
[smash cut to the jury room]
It's the theater of the mind! Sometimes we'll use a sketch to show relative position, but we don't even use graph paper.
Yeah, the fiddly little bits and the extensive lists of things you were not ALLOWED to do would be frustrating to go back to at this point (no dwarf clerics, what?) but I still have plenty of fond memories of playing that version of the game. Last time I did was for a 30th Anniversary run-through of White Plume…
