But DUMB ideas are the zeitgeist. Have you purveyed the news of late?

Well, you've got your choice: cheesecake or beefcake. They only got those two kinds.

It's all just listless wives and pizza delivery guys, isn't it?

Sarcasm is very difficult to convey on the internet, but somehow you pulled it off.

"Pulp" stopped being a medium and became a genre a long time ago. Most likely, the same could be said for "B-Movie." The English language is ever evolving, y'all.

Human beings and dogs have been working together for about 15,000 years. Longer than all of recorded history. And they've done a lot of the shit work for us over the millennia. So yeah, I'm all for treating them as well as possible.

I think they even implied (while avoiding saying outright) that Diana herself is bi.

I liked it a lot. The opening was a bit slow, but once Gadot appeared on Themyscira it picked up immediately and rolled along really well. The whole Veld sequence from start to finish was fantastic, and while the big climax at the end went a little long, it still ended surprising poigniantly.

You need look no further than Frank Herbert's kid for an example of someone who is trying to make some money on his father's legacy. Christopher Tolkein is not that guy.

Eh, I must admit to a certain amount of fanboy glee to see Saruman and Elrond beating the shit out of the Nine.

First of all, Wonder Woman is my sister's favorite superhero, so right away that's enough for me. I mean, I am excited about the film but didn't figure it "opening weekend worthy," and yet I am going to see it Sunday because my sister is dragging me to it. I don't think there's anyone more pumped for this flick than

We have a small staff, so I can only hide and avoid so much.

I'll get back to you. I have to actually go to work now.

The alternating of the WW stories worked brilliantly, month to month. It felt like reading two monthlies that were interrelated, rather than the same book twice a month. It was, I think, a really brilliant way to take advantage of the increased publishing schedule. No other Rebirth title even attempted something like

Curses!

My wife watches the Today Show. I can't stand that McNews bullshit. The last news outlet that I actually watch is the Weather Channel, in part because I just want to know what to expect for the day, but also because you can't put spin on a hurricane or a tornado. There's no agenda to put forth. Usually. The Weather

I always go with "goddam" myself, although it makes no grammatical sense. It is pleasing to my eye.
