It's a well known fact among conservatives that Jesus hates poor people. Its in Revelations, people!

Yeah, didn't they hate when Obama did that? Why is it okay now that their guy is doing it? Do they not know what a hypocrite is?
The only thing in those films that didn't work for me was the romance between Hellboy and Liz. I accepted it as something unique to the film continuity, but it's the one thing I really didn't care for. The sense of humor and the slapstick-y action was just fine, and I thought perfectly in tune with the comics. I mean……
The first movie was almost pitch perfect as an adaptation. It wasn't a straight translation of the comics (and I wouldn't want it to be) but it got so much more right than I would have believed going in to the film, and Ron Perlman knocked it out of the fucking park. The love story was the one misfire, imo, but other…
That's it for you!
They're not that overwrought. Hellboy himself usually takes the piss about nearly anything, because he's basically Ben Grimm and nothing impresses him. There's the running gag about tech always breaking down (especially on Hellboy) and a guy named Lobster Johnson. The Hellboy books have their share of humor.
You're bad and you should feel bad.
Hot Rod was cool though.
There's a Judas Contract film coming out (if not out already), isn't there?
You can't blame Wonder Woman for the Treaty of Versailles. Even Woodrow Wilson tried to mitigate that shit. Didn't take. The Great War engendered a lot of hard feelings all around.
I do kind of hate that. The Civil War Lego set ruined a fun surprise for me long before the movie even came out. I'll have to try not to see any WW stuff (although I kind of assume I already know).
Upvote for the Red Heat shout-out.
Bastard!
You unutterable bastard. How uncouth of you!
Deathstroke is not a character I've ever liked very much, myself, but Priest's Deathstroke is a great, well-written, smart, and funny book with a great and varied supporting cast.
I think Christopher Priest is the last creator I follow who has yet to let me down. I am probably going to end up buying a goddam Inhumans book because of him. The only consolation is that it will likely be awesome.
I had to - no joke - switch back pockets, because the one I normally used was causing my sciatica to flare up on me. Just sitting on the wallet in the car would be torture.
Wear it in the shower. It'll fold fine after that.
That's the one where I draw the line. Sweatpants are acceptable for working outside, painting, or exercising - not going out in public. And to hell with anyone who wears pajama bottoms outside the comfort of their own home.
Yeah, that stuff I know. Kane's father helped him negotiate a better deal than Siegel and Schuster had, that much I know. And I've read Denny O'Niel's take on Finger (that's why I mentioned the Irish problem), but beyond that, Finger is a cipher to me.
