It's really pretty good. Low stakes, decently fleshed out setting, interesting characters, done in one. The kind of thing that readers of fantasy don't see often enough, honestly.

He's good enough, though. Better than most, but not as good as some.
Byrne is such a miserable old crank that I find myself siding with Jim Shooter on a lot of things, just because. Jim Shooter!
Probably not. Trademarks and copyrights are different things, which is why both DC and Marvel can have characters named "Captain Marvel," but only one company can publish a comic book called that. So the reason for the Wingless Wizard (originally a Johnny Storm villain) to call himself that had nothing to do with…
There's naught wrong with "The Thing"! And I'll fight any man what says otherwise!
It's not even that, because hey - Aquaman, Namor, Black Panther, et al. put the lie to that, unless one is determined to make long underwear types "realistic" - it's that Blackbolt is categorically a terrible person who has done terrible things. Fucker used to own slaves, man. He's an asshole going all the way back to…
I heard good things about Cain's run on Mockingbird, at least until that horrible, horrible retcon that was just ill-conceived. Coates is a good writer, but that book was unforgivably boring. The preview of the Ms. America book I saw here had the same problem, though: telling instead of showing. Talking heads after…
At Marvel, for sure.
I wish.
I actually knew that, because I'm that kind of nerd!
Twincest never goes out of style!
I hate Blackbolt. I think he's a fucking war criminal who deserves to be in prison.
Okay, let's get this out of the way: 7 covers, one recap page (in a number one, seriously?) but 5 actual pages of preview. A better average than Marvel Ad Guy usually provides.
It was certainly the best New Gods movie we'll ever get.
I have never heard of that before. Did you buy them in Canada or something? I never had French MotU comics. Now I wish I had!
The guy shit all over the Martian Manhunter and claimed She-Hulk was just masturbation material. I have no respect for him, honestly.
Me too.
He-Man just has the spray-on tan.
Yeah, well, that's how the urban legend got started. But there's nothing else in the MotU line that matches up in any way to Conan. Skeletor doesn't look a thing like Thulsa Doom, for example, and Teela, a good guy, was the one with the snake theme originally.
The Blade movies were alright. Except the one that Goyer actually directed. That one sucked pretty hard.
