At the very least, there's emotional intimacy going on between them, which in some ways could be seen as worse than "fooling around."

Getting over someone is not all or nothing. Don't beat yourself up because you still have feelings. Try to move forward, enjoy yourself, get to know the new guy better. This could be exactly what you need.

Ask him how many Jewish presidents there are.

I don't get it.

And it's when Scarlet Witch gets a glimpse of what is really going on in his head that I think we see the true Ultron - the quipmaster version may be a way to make people underestimate him. That's another possible interpretation, I suppose.

I just caught up Supergirl, but I still have the last episode of Flash to watch. Will I even bother? Maybe.

On the one hand, that kind of monument is horrifying. On the other hand, it's finally being torn down. Progress is being made. Not rapid progress by any means, but progress of any kind should be celebrated.

I really do think the intent of having Quip-Ultron was to 1) make him a foil for Iron Man and B) make him unsettling and dismissive of the heroes by not taking them seriously. But I also think it didn't quite work.

I guess my disconnect is the Ultron = Scary thing, which I've never gotten (barring a few moments in that one Busiek/Perez story). He's always been a whiny jerk with Oedipal issues who just happens to be made out of Adamantium, so that he can give the whole Avengers team a challenge. Once the "good" Ultron showed up

We don't talk about The Crossing.

As long as they actually show Batman beating the shit out of the Punisher for twenty minutes (not that Batfleck would do that), I'm in.

It was the first time. But now everyone who writes Thor comics has to try to out-do/re-do Simonson's run, beat for beat.

One of Cap's best every moments is in that book. Even though he gets killed immediately afterward, I still love that speech.

Yeah, but 20 minutes into the film, they're replaced by Ron Lim's visuals.

Now you're talking! And I want to see the Avengers take a city bus to a fight.

Really? I mean… making smart-alec comments is not only good comic book tradition, but it's a solid action movie tradition. Sure, dry one-liners are the usual delivery system, but cracking wise in the middle of a fight is fine too. I don't think it means they're not taking it seriously.

And that was the weakest of the bunch. Although that might have been the Jim Lee art.

The "new" in New Challengers doesn't excite me. DC has tried rebooting the Challs a half dozen times with new characters, and I always fall for it, and I'm never satisfied. If it's not Prof, Ace, Rocky, Red, and June than I can't be bothered.

To sell comics.

"Killspeed" is pretty damn 90s. What silliness.
