The good thing about trades, I've learned, is that after I wait for them to come out, I look at them at the store and discover that I don't really want it anyway.

So a typical outing then, cool. I should Byrne-steal this at the local B&N some day. I loves me some Bronze Age Defenders, I do.

How did Patsy and Jennifer become best friends? I'm not complaining, I like both characters, but I don't think I've ever seen them paired up before. Patsy is friends with Bruce, of course, but I would have guessed her best gal-pal would have been Val.

Especially when an individual issue is $3.99, while the volume that collects five of them is $14.99.

Awesome. And then what happened?

That's kind of cool, about Strange. Patsy has got to be one of his few actual friends, after all this time.

Did Daimon Hellstrom or Mad Dog ever show up? Man, Patsy has some weird exes.

The AV Club turned into a D&D resource site so gradually, I hardly even noticed.

Yeah, people said that before Guardians of the Galaxy came out, too.

It's actually pretty awesome, and in truth I could listen to Shearer's Jack Benny stories all day.

Also well known for never shutting up about Jack Benny. Give it a rest, already!

There seems to be some kind of division between Shearer and McKean, although neither of them appears to want to discuss it.

There you go. Thank you.

Yvonne Craig was a brunette. The red hair was part of the costume.

Lila without Sam Guthrie is a "No Sale."

They already switched the powers to begin with. Okay, sure, white chick gets light powers and black guy gets darkness powers, that's cliche, but the girl gets the phallic shaped attack power and the guy gets the, uh, how do I put this delicately - he absorbs people into himself, let's say. Yeah. That'll do.

Yeah, a black guy with a knife. Good idea.

Just like the comics!

Run out of characters? Ha-ha. They have over seventy years of comics to mine. They will never run out of characters.

Hoisted by my own petard!
