Well, "continuous" is a nebulous term. There was a long period where he was off on New Mars, and only appeared as a guest star once in a while. Once the Detroit League happened, and then the Post-Crisis "just" Justice League, he became a mainstay.

Hawkmoon is similarly fast-paced pulp adventure, but its the post-apocalyptic setting that I enjoyed the most. You don't see that sort of thing in fantasy too often. Usually you get some old version of the real world, like Middle-Earth or Hyboria, or some other planet or dimension. Future Earth, not so much.

Yeah, absolutely. I enjoyed Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, personally, but I read that at a time in my life when I actually had time to read. And even though I didn't care about the main characters, the supporting characters were interesting, and I just liked the "joke" of the whole thing. Like the footnotes.
