She's only five years older than me. It could work!

That was so cool.

So I've watched it three times now, and each time I get even giddier.

As a manly man, I certainly didn't squee like a little girl when the song started, but I sure felt like I could have. Must have been a weather balloon or swamp gas or something. But not me!

Wasn't it Straczynski who likened it to Tolkien? i.e. he wrote the dialogue in the comics in the same meter as the Lord of the Rings films. He has a credit on the first Thor movie, too…

It's the only thing that makes sense.

I like that, because the Thor/Loki stuff is the best stuff in the previous two films, especially their team-up in Dark World.

I am not banking on Surtur showing up, but it would hardly be Ragnarok without him, so I am hoping.

Are you crazy? Raiders of the Lost Ark is distilled perfection.

"Immigrant Song" technically.

Yes you should! This is how excited you should have been for the other two - in a just world, anyway.

This movie probably won't make me cry like the comic did, but goddamit, that's still a glorious thing to see in live action.

Skurge with an M-16!! Holy shit!!! Holy fucking shit!!!

Jesus Christ.

Religion is often used to rationalize a lot of more petty conflicts.

I'm pretty sure Superman could take Jesus. Does Jesus even have heat vision? I don't think so. Oh, but what if he turns those rocks into Kryptonite? Agh! I'm having a crisis of faith!

Yeah, Narnia was never really my thing, I went more for Middle-Earth, but they really don't work for me at all any longer.

And they were drinking buddies.

He made a movie with Michael Caine and Alan Arkin that came out this weekend, too. He may be God, but he doesn't like being double-booked.

Is it just me, or was CS Lewis incredibly obnoxious? It's me, right?
