You have to remember that, before the Burton movie, Batman was basically Adam West and the Super Friends. Burton's film took Batman seriously, and that was a fairly huge step at the time.

Ghost Rider started off really strong - loved the Tex art - but once it became popular and the source of all sorts of crappy spin-offs and crossovers, it quickly went to shit. Once Ghost Rider got his own Venom, the writing was on the wall.

My cat has some kind of eating disorder. He gets really upset when his dry food bowl shows any signs of emptiness. He doesn't sit and eat all day, he just grazes, but whenever he starts to see the bottom of the bowl he comes looking for me and starts chirping.

My first dog was a Brittany Spaniel. She got hit by a car one St. Patrick's Day and broke one of her hind legs. Took her a while to get used to using all four again, and whenever she was stressed, she'd just do the three legs thing. Absolute sweetheart. I still miss the shaggy little thing.
