Part of that is how we as players view a Beta. I always try to find ways to break the game when I play a Beta. Most people now a days just go for kills and say the game is too little content as if the Beta was the full game =_=

Yeah, I did the kickstarter thing for it as soon as I heard. To me no game holds a candle to SOCOM. I haven't played a single playerampaign as much as I did that game, nor have I played any other game I loved online so much. Sure sometimes it was frustrating ,but it was a truly great game that faded into the shadows.…
i don't pay too much attention to what comes out of the few betas that i've played, but i remember resistance 2 for ps3 had several bug and glitch fixes because of the beta...
Usually, Blizzard betas are filled with bugs, issues, balance problems, design errors, ... that are (usually, not always :p) fixed in the process. I remember the SCII betas during which units were entirely redesigned or even removed from the game (Warhound :'( ).
OMG a person who knows SOCOM. SOCOM I and II reign king back in the days.
Whatever happened to doing public betas so these online games are aren't so full of glitches and bugs at release?
That definitely should have replaced the shotgun clip. I LoL'd when I thought he might actually make it back up but the karmic death had me grinning ear to ear.
The Destiny clip where the guy manages to not die after jumping off the ledge, only to get rammed back to his death after trying to jump back up. I LOLed.
Press embargoes are my new red flag. Any game that has a press embargo until -after- launch will not be receiving any money from me at launch. If it were a good game they wouldn't want to keep people from talking about it.
Wow, I enjoyed both of them. I look forward to seeing the whole thing, except, I might be dizzy from all the close action.
OMG! That fist of havok clip had me rolling! That thud at the end...just so satisfying (and unfortunate)!
We all love watching Eren and the gang swing around in Attack On Titan, but what would happen if you added Spider-Man…
It feels like their answer to that would PvP. So you done with the 6-8 hours its time to head to the Crucible and 'farm' for Mark, Rep, etc.
I think that's how Bungie expect/want to people to play in end-game, at least in PvE: get on, do the daily's, do some bounties, then once a week, get some friends together to do the weeklys/Nightfall, maybe the raid. I'd bet they expect players not to log more than 8-10 hours a week at most.
TBH this has bugged me for YEARS.. especially on games that supposedly have some sort of military members assistance in making..
Their research will make sense when you see the final design.
I honestly don't even remember survival mode. I didn't even know they had any DLC for NV! I might have to check that out.
Yeah. To be honest, I loved New Vegas, but I was playing it smack dab in the middle of a move from Buffalo, NY to Connecticut, so new environment saw me not playing as much. I was stuck right at the end trying to decide who I wanted to side with. Still haven't finished.
For some reason I was playing the game at home, I had a long vacation or something and spent it there, and she walked by and out of curiosity asked what I was playing. My parents lived in DC, and the cities and their locations are fairly accurate. Not ENTIRELY to scale, but still a good work. I can't remember what…
