Yeah, I'd kill to replace civ V music with civ IV music. Could be a nice edge for steam, to hook that kind of thing in as well as achievements. Music DLC, ho?

The expand button should only be visible when you mouse over the image, it's obscuring the text on most of these...

Is hard to say, some people can't see things a few inches in front of their face. I wear glasses and I can read the most smallest text when it is a few inches from my face yet I struggle to read a car number plate as I am driving even with my glasses. I think collectively we should refuse to view or comment on these shitposts. all it does is encourage Kotakus staff to be even lazier (if such a thing is possible (cough pat hernadez) with out them being headhunter-ed to polgorn) and we deserve better than constant reposts ripped from reddit without even the most

FUS RO duh.

Yeah, this guys dead on right. The events that killed the SOCOM franchise were not due to salse, but poor business decisions on Sony's part. Both ps3 Socom games sold pretty well compared to the other PS exclusives at the time.

The online cheats are what ruined it

What system is this for?

I think it sold somewhere in the ballpark of 2M world wide... considering there are almost 200M PS2's out there in the world "wildly" successful may be a bit of an over statement. That being said, I loved that series, borrowed a friends PS2 just to play that game.

Maybe you had to be there, but Socom was phenomenal back in the day. The controller scheme needs to be updated (understatement of the year), but the underlying gameplay should hold up pretty well. The two Socom games released on the PS3 changed too much of what made the first two PS2 games special.
