Emma Stone is her daughter.....her sister.........her daughter.......her sister........

“You’re the first daughter of the United States, and you’re also an assistant to the president,” the moderator, WirtschaftsWoche editor-in-chief Miriam Meckel, said. “The German audience is not that familiar with the concept of a first daughter. I’d like to ask you, what is your role, and who are you

He took all of his polling info from where everyone else got it, but was one of the few people to point out how strange the state’s polls and other forms of polling was spiking either one way or the other.

“He predicted incorrectly”— if there’s a 30+% chance of rain, I’m bringing my umbrella. It’s called probability.

I know I’m a Nate fan girl but you might want to go back and read his posts before the election. He was saying that Trump had over a 30% chance to win. It’s not Nate’s fault that people heard that as a shoe-in for Clinton.

Yep. The narrative that we should not trust Silver because he was wrong on the election just doesn’t fly. Not only wasn’t he predicting a lock for Clinton, he constantly called out exactly what might lead to a Trump win.

Wasn’t Nate Silver the most bear-ish on Hillary’s election odds just before the election? He was the first to point out that the odds of a Trump victory had risen to something like 1 in 4, whereas the other pollsters were still saying Hillary had a near-total chance of victory.

Didn’t Nate Silver say that Hillary would win?

No, and he didn’t say Le Pen would lose either. And his analysis of the general election was pretty spot on. This shit must drive him nuts.

No, he aggregated the polls and projected a probability that Hillary would win.

If you read the actual 538 article, he has a pretty damn good point that a 2% polling error in a system with indirect elections is a hell of a lot likelier to be wrong than a 30% gap in an election based on the popular vote. And even then he points out that it could be wrong because STATISTICS IS NOT MAGIC.

From what I remember Nate Silver and 538 were the only ones saying that a Popular Vote win but Electoral College loss was a very real possibility

You’re not relegated to Suave. This isn’t about white people using the product. It’s more like...the company is alienating their main customer base by not representing them in their advertisements. Like 95% of ads are all white people, if this company is mainly supported by black people then why the hell arent they

I also think this is a big misconception of the election. I remember a post like 2 days before the election titled something like “Trump is only a standard polling error away from winning the presidency.” Essentially, based on their model, Hillary was up about 4 percent in the national popular vote but it was tighter

No offense, but you don’t know WTF this argument is about. White women have always been able to use whatever product they want. The issue is this particular company wouldn’t exist today without massive support of unmixed black women with nappy hair. Like, high multi-millions of revenue because nobody else cared to

Whichever bullshit excuse makes the browns scarier for you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The far right, globally, has become a terrifying presence. A party that lauds “personal responsibility” and “bootstraps”, no matter where you go and yet they HATE immigrants of all colors. The very people who embrace the hard working spirit, they loathe.

Yes. But sometimes things are about being black. And you can’t hold hands across America about it. I have the type of hair that can withstand normal shampoos but benefits from using black center hair products. Some black womens hair (4c to be exact) already suffer from extreme shrinkage and need specially designed

He’s probably not as dorky, and she’s probably not as cool, as her PR team makes her? I mean, she did spend her formative years at a fucking Tennis Academy.

I use Oyin Handmade products. https://oyinhandmade.com/ Specifically their Juices & Berries spray to moisturize my hair. I also use simple mixture of Jojoba & Grapeseed oils. To twist my hair I use aloe vera gel + flaxseed gel (that I make on my own)
