Yeah, circumcision and FGM are obviously nowhere near to being equivalent. That doesn’t mean circumcision is okay though. You’re still cutting someones genitals for cultural reasons without their consent.

Both men and women perpetuate elements of the patriarchy which directly harm them. 

Speaking as a circumcised trans woman, it’s still super fucked up and damaging. Pretending non consensual circumcision is cool isn’t helping anyone. If the clit has been removed, I agree. If the labia and hood have been removed? That’s kinda close. Both can be wrong. It doesn’t have to be a contest.
