Listen, I love Ken Jennings, but he's a professional Smart Person, not a professional TV personality.

Stephen Colbert is my dream replacement for when Alex Trebek retires.

Billy Eichner.

Since very few comments here were "Wait, what?" I figured I missed some big stuff.

I in no way picked up "cannibal colony" at all. I got to that point in Zack's review and did a double take. Were there just a bunch of very subtle hints that confirmed the comic storyline (which I did not read or know about), or did I just miss something big and obvious? I picked up that Rick saw all of his friends'

It was cool that they got all the main cast's spouses not only in the same episode, but the same shot (well sorta, with Sandy).

In an extra twist, The Ohio State University HAS to say it that way because of a copyright claim from Ohio University, which is Marah's (and my) alma matter.

Yeah, he's like John Mayer that way. Don't care for his music, but the guy is undeniably good at guitar.

I'm a week behind so nobody is probably reading this. But I was excited with the Final Jeopardy because I just listened to a 99 Percent Invisible about this. Apparently Otis built a tall outdoor elevator for an exhibit at the World's Fair, rode to the top, then had his son cut the rope WITH A FUCKING SWORD. The crowd

"Kept proceeding." Past tense.

I appreciated some of the hand-holding. I love this show, but I have trouble remembering the details of episodes that aired 5+ years ago.

But I want to hear other things!

Is there a way to turn off the liveblog's clicky sound effects?

Until Todd, who has seen additional episodes, confirmed I was wrong, my assumption was that those were fake clips, a la Community's clip show. Like the rest of the season would still be post-Isis, just not those particular adventures that Archer dreamed up. How fucking incredible would that have been, if Adam Reed

Yeah, I'm with you. I was expecting the genre stuff to drop completely when Shirley announced that Pierce died, that the show was making some commentary on it's genre stuff and character stuff coexisting. But the last scene brought the Ass Crack Bandit stuff back, and it just made me uncomfortable.

NUMBER ONE FILM AND TV PET PEEVE! I'll stop watching a show or movie, no matter how good, when this line pops up.

On second thought, the twin mysteries of "Will Robin Marry Barney?" and "Where Will Lily And Marshal Live?" pretty much rule out any chance of a post-Meeting-Your-Mother flash forward episode. Damn.
