As someone who works for a small family-owned and operated business, I cannot agree enough. The levels of gridlock, family politics, dysfunction, resistance to change and new ideas, and lack of protocols are breathtaking and laughable. The writing is on the wall at this place.

Not sure if it was the case here, but there is a big scam tow truck problem in Chicago. The scumbags will put up bogus signs, prey on cars, etc. so they can put you in a position to be extorted.
