Chicagoan here. I got doored on Lincoln at Fullerton in 2011. Did my homework, and at that time the law had just changed. So, now, doorings are no different legally than if a car blew a stop sign and hit a cyclist. If a driver doors a cyclist and doesn't deal with the situation, it's no different than a hit and run.…
