If you have a compressor already, a gallon of fluid film is 50 bucks and a spraygun is maybe 20. I can do my f350 in an hour or so and my 4runner only takes about 40 minutes.

I buy the 5 gallon tubs now but if you only have one car a gallon is more than enough. 

at my workplace we use aerosol rust inhibitor. It lingers in the air, has a nasty smell, and is designed to adhere to surfaces. The SDS and our internal safety department all say it is save to breathe in.

Other than for the sake of getting an article out of it, i’m curious to know why you went this route rather than the do it yourself method with a couple of cans of Fluid Film.

I worked at a company that made large fiberglass tanks. According to OSHA, and our health/safety coordinator, masks were not necessary (but they were available) while drilling/cutting into the tanks. I was amazed that zero operators wore one. It was dusty as fuck over there. I didn’t want to be breathing that shit.

Anyone else amazed that they spray this without a respirator, or at the very least, a dust mask?

I don’t know the risks of Krown inhalation or contact, but the complete lack of safety gear made me itchy all over.

With a cellphone, I don’t expect to pay a monthly or yearly fee to use the integrated camera. I do expect to pay for use of the cell towers of the provider that I have a contract with. I can also take that phone to another provider if I wish.

And for those not living in the swampy states, a big issue is that without running A/C (or a dehumidifier, which is really the same thing just without venting the heat outside), after a week or two your house will start to get moldy inside. It’s not just the inconvenience of being hot and sweaty.

I don’t camp much but I live in Texas so power outages are always a consideration. Usually in summer during hurricane season but apparently we have to worry about winter now too.

The problem with a battery is that it doesn’t generate power. You need electricity to refill it.  This fact alone means a battery based solution will never replace the capabilities of a generator.

I’m okay with this, I actually hate generators while camping.
