Agreed, 5-60 is way more interesting.
I don’t know - most cars can do decent numbers around 6-7s, but I never see anyone get anywhere near that number even on highway on-ramps. I suspect most people will keep driving the way they do now instead of suddenly turning into speed-demons.
What’s the best way to get a good deal on a WRX in the North East? It seems impossible to find a good price, and used 1-3 year old used Rexes go near the prices of brand new ones.
Yep. No idea how Ford manages to retain its “American” branding. At this point do they even make anything in the US? People get so surprised when I tell them the RS is from Germany, as if they’ve never heard of a Ford made outside the US
I can agree there: anyone in the market for a 328 (or a 320) is in it for the badge, not the performance. I have personally met a number of enthusiasts who can and do afford more expensive vehicles, but choose to daily the RS. Given the topic of track performance however, the RS seems like the more worthwhile choice…
Why 328i and not something like a Focus RS?
Ah, was just guessing. Maybe brake cooling duct for a higher end trim? Or they’re just crazy
You have to take the D regularly to stave off the... blues
D is good for the body!
Instructions unclear, stuck head in blender
... but why wouldn’t you? What is causing people to forget to shut the car off as they get out? They’ve been doing it for decades - shutting the car off before getting out - then suddenly forget how to do it? They still have to turn it ON!
Can the sound-of-mind rest of us be allowed to shut it all off? It sounds like the proposed solution is MORE noises.
Might be the spot for optional fog lights
Took mine on a trip too, about 300 miles give or take. It felt fine, like a cheap car on the inside: I’ve grown up with cheap cars (base model Toyotas and Hondas), that’s not a problem. I couldn’t get past its complete inability to keep any semblance of speed up or down hill on cruise control. Mashing the gas pedal…
That one’s a pet peeve of mine too. You’re supposed to take them off if you do NOT have a baby “on-board.” Most people use it as some kind of dumb-ass pride sticker to tell everyone that they managed to have sex. The truth is that it should only be placed if there is a baby there. As explained by an EMT babies and…
Ah, a fellow Compass renter. I had one of those as a rental for a while: can confirm the sundial, and the gas mileage, and the cobblestone comments.
Why turn off DRLs?
I want the Speedo + Tach. Sue me. I am oft checking the speedo, and it’d be nice to just have it there.
Eh? A compact will easily fit a modern seat too
