I'm so excited about this, I was considering getting a normal XL and importing the Japanese Animal Crossing XL and doing a housing swap on them if Nintendo didn't release this here.

You have a good point, but I see that as punishing their fans and customers, and hurting their own business, because of something the critics say, which shouldn't be how it works. They should cater to their fans and customers which would be a really good way of saying "fuck you" to the critics when they are still…

I believe this is karma catching up to Nintendo for being selfish and ungrateful for the rest of their customers throughout the world and keeping most of the cool limited edition hardware (and even standard colors when it comes to the 3DS XL) to Japan.

Pretty much exactly how I saw it, but I've been working graveyard the past couple weeks and still haven't gotten fully used to it, so it might just a lack of sleep thing.

I dislike Ubisoft a lot more than I do EA, and I don't play Ubisoft games anymore.

I noticed today that The Curse which was a puzzle game for iPhone just got released recently on android market. Just thought I'd spread the word.

If they release the Animal Crossing one or if they ever come out with a Majora's mask one (if they remake the game) in the US I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

No, but I do on my Nexus 7 with an app called Tablet Talk that communicates through Bluetooth with my phone in order to send texts. Its pretty nifty.

I love quality packaging, not a joke. Tells me that they actually care about their product.

I don't think they really intend on trying to get console gamers to jump ship and join the PC gaming world, I think they would be happy if this is what got them to switch, but I don't believe thats the main goal. I think this is just their way of catering to their users and meeting their demand. And I'm pretty stoked…

When ever I see a really cool trailer for a new game I always get super excited, doesn't everyone? But as soon as I see the ubisoft logo flash across the screen at the end I get disappointed and write the game off as one that I'm not going to play.

If Nintendo made this I wouldn't hesitate to buy it right this instant, even though its the XL and I would rather have a "lite" version of my 3DS.
