I would gladly play an extra 25, maybe even 50, bucks for this if it was real, but I wouldn't spend THAT much more on something like this, it would be freaking cool though.

I think it did, and i wouldnt be surprised if sony strategically revealed it after the 3DS with the intention of making people for me, I haven't ever really liked the psp/playstation games so I'm not interested in the NGP either, but for a lot of people I bet the NGP has caught their eye. EW wind waker? OoT was by far my favorite Zelda game, and N64 game, i didn't really like that many games on gamecube, except for maybe animal crossing and super smash bros..
