I certianly did that. I was playing on the PS4 I started on Hard cause I figured I managed quite well on that at Doom. After awhile fighting with dieing alot and fighting with controls to actually aim, I gave up and dropped the difficulty. I settled with 1 above Easy.

I had a hell of a time trying to aim. I was playing on the PS4 and not sure how much of that was me not being great at FPS on a console and how much was them not having very good things in place to help with that.

What will the flow for restarting a race be like?

This has to do with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit(2010) where I stopped playing after 1 race because to restart a race you had to sit through the entire camera sweep of the race track, seeing the race positions and then start.

I do eat at my desk, but usually if I’m going and eating pad thai or a gyro plate , just pick up my wireless keyboard and put it on its side next to my chair, out of the way of my eating. If i need to type to someone i just put it in my lap.

I would say don’t let playing alone keep you away from Monster Hunter. On my morning commutes I think I have seen 1 or 2 people on the bus using a tablet. But, I have also seen 1 or 2 people using laptops. Far more common are people using their phones, and sometimes I see someone with a 3DS.

Well I think it was said that for the story skip there will be like cutscenes to watch in the Inn to help give you the a shortened version of stuff. So it kind of depends on how they break up those cutscenes and how much detail it gives.
