I will be charitable and consider the og poster was talking about gestational diabetes which can happen to anyone of any weight. If Drs don’t catch it, the result is a giant baby for whatever reason.

What I think really sucks about the book/film (which I understand are virtually interchangeable in relation to this issue) is that many, many people will look at it and wonder by most disabled persons don’t just decide to suicide. Which is an opinion of pity/prejudice that I think the disabled community and its allies…
Read the book. Though it was pretty meh (not for reasons being discussed here) so will not see the movie likely. BUT
These are funny examples, because while the headline and the articles are couched for men, the intended audience is still women. Like a sort of, “here’s what we wish we could say to all men, ammirite ladies?”.
As AgreeToAgree says, there are going to be questions and speculation. So they address it. The notes thing? That’s because twitter is the most effective way to get it out and their character limit makes anything complicated difficult. So they tweet a picture of their notes. Voila
I have about 10 tops i switch out. Same tops all the time. I switch between wearing skinny slacks with them and skirts, about 50/50. Never fails that when I wear the skirt someone will comment on how dressed up I am.
Yeah but this begs the question of the reason for dressing professionally. Though, I acknowledge its kind of a pointless question though because a person will still have to dress to their workplace definition of ‘professional’ if they want to be taken seriously/not fired.
Thank you this is all i need to read. I feel briefed and prepared for what comes.
IDK, but a very lazy, conforming part of me would absolutely love it if there was a dress code at work. Currently the policy is (ick) ask your supervisor if you have concerns about what you are wearing.
Absolutely. So much easier. But sometimes a lady’s gotta do what a lady’s gotta do man.
I’m usually pretty good with just scooting them down to the ankles and then moving around. But a cup has a lot more give than the little tab on the end of a stick. Don’t have to lean over as much.
unless you have a cup, you have to aim that stream on the stick. Ideally over the toilet, of course.
The reference to men makes me wonder at what I’ve always thought regarding these particular beauty ideals as applies to women. I always reasoned that the consumption, heroin-chic-type- look
(as a comparison others are drawing below) was the preferred when men were much happier to envision their women as weak,…
Don’t know about cyclical, but definitely think there is something to a culture preferring a weakened woman after periods when they are able to assert some kind of control over themselves.
In some instances they are. For example, Alaska had the highest federal aid per person for some time, not paying any more taxes of course.
Federal taxes. They still would have to pay federal taxes but being in poor standing worth the justice department would forestall certain federal payments to the states...specifically its infrastructure. That is what I was referring too.
Oh shoot. Was really hoping that we would finally get to see what it would look like when a Republican state, ‘believing in small government’, would stop getting federal monies.
I have seen beauty bloggers just coo over uniqlo forever. A few finally opened in my area and i went and its just...its just a mess you guys. The fabrics are worse than stuff at H&M and other fast fashion and the fit. Oh God. If you have any curves you look like an SNL mom-jeans mother dressed in the kind of tissue…

Damn. I was pulling for these idiots to have learned something. Agreed, their children shouldn’t be under their care.
