I just played the new demo and while there are terrifying moments if you’re using headphones, it’s an underwhelming teaser for what’s to come. I wish this game wasn’t taking such a supernatural approach.

I don’t mind roguelikes and think Hades is a really good roguelike but boy is it overrated. It just feels like a game people decided was the “little engine that could” and decided to rally around it. It’s also the first roguelike for so many people and it’s well written, so I understand the love for it. But GOTY? Idk…

I don’t really understand why people find it strange. There’s an ongoing pandemic and it’s just their way of practicing social distancing. This is how many people visit their family and friends at the moment, by interacting with a closed window or glass door between them.

Eh, fries can stink up a room and it’s noticeable when you’re not hungry. Also, you ever get fries from a drive-thru? That scent stays in your car for a day. Not sure I buy this story but I’d be annoyed if I have to work with that smell in the air all day long.

It was free a while ago, yes. It still holds up too. What an incredible game.

I’m so paranoid about playing this game because I keep seeing people refer to it as spyware. I haven’t really looked into it enough to make a decision if it’s just paranoia based on propaganda or if there are valid concerns. But it’s discouraging.

Because I just want one as soon as I can get one, especially during such a crazy year. I’m excited about it. It’s that simple.
