I finished it about 30 minutes ago. I’m a haaaayoooooooooge Star Wars fan but I’m seeing so much praise for this game and I think it’s being graded on a curve just for being a decent Star Wars game with a long campaign. It’s fun but also frustrating. It’s nowhere near as good as any of the games it tries to emulate

This game is SO buggy in general. I just finished it and had a lot of fun but it was definitely rushed to come out before the new movie. Some of the bugs are just shockingly bad. This game really lacks polish in a lot of areas.

A couple of local stores by me have had Shenmue 3 in stock as of Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn’t bite but I am genuinely curious how people feel about that one. It very much just looks like a game geared for Shenmue fans and no one else.

Yup. I realized that but I kinda just wanted to test myself. There’s another mini boss later in the game that you can also cheese just like that and that’s how I beat him lol.

Yeah. I was being stubborn and trying to beat it without healing at first. But it’s super difficult with or without med stims. I eventually killed it but it took many, many tries. Definitely felt like a fight that you’re meant to come back to later once your character is a bit stronger.

I’m playing on Jedi Master and it’s pretty good. Not too hard but challenging. You can get smoked on that second planet if you’re not careful. I did find the optional Oggdo Boggdo fight to be extremely challenging though. Its attack pattern seems random and it can one-shot kill you whenever it feels like. Didn’t seem

The jankiness of the controls and the sensitivity level of the camera was pretty off-putting at first but I’m now 2 hours deep and sold for the most part.

I didn’t now about the Petey files but I will definitely start reading those. Thanks.

I’m pretty patient. I waited in line for over an hour in July to eat at Pecan Lodge in Dallas. I’m not super into bbq but I enjoyed it and the wait didn’t bother me. Food was pretty good and the company was good.

Nioh is harder in a bunch of ways. It has a steeper learning curve I thought. However, Nioh can be a breeze if you play by just summoning help. I’d imagine a lot of people are still playing Nioh and it wouldn’t be hard to summon people to help you a long the way. Some of the bosses are super hard and double teaming

Have you been playing Outer Worlds? It’s very similar to New Vegas minus the clunkiness and bugs.

For real, you’re missing out on RE7. I understand your reservations but it is honestly one of the best Resident Evil games and I’ve been a big fan since the first one. Yes it is first person but it captures the spirit of Resident Evil in ways that 5, 6 and the Revelations games didn’t.

Oh yeaaaahhh. He was great. Hosea was honestly too good for that group.

I went from liking this game to hating it to loving it in the span of a year. I got it on launch but quit on Chapter 3 in December or January. It just felt so tedious and boring.

Funny because I played it on the PS1. I liked it enough when I played it but not enough to be a fan of the series. Some things just don’t age well. And some remakes are better than others. To be clear, I’m not OPPOSED to this remake. I just meant it’s an odd choice for a remake in that this game wasn’t a blockbuster

Deadly Premonition. I started it back in 2014 but forgot about it after buying a PS4. Gonna finally finish it this weekend hopefully. I LOVE Twin Peaks so while this game plays like shit, I’m having fun with it.

Fuck yeah. Thanks. I just picked this up and reading this while the game installs. I was really interested in this game since it was announced but was gonna hold off for a bit with Death Stranding being so close to release. But you and Paul sold me.

I played the demo of this last week and it felt terrrrrrrrrible. What an odd choice for a remake.

To me, the last really good wrestling game was 2k14 on the PS3. It wasn’t as good as Here Comes the Pain overall, but it was damn fun with a near flawless online mode. It also featured the reversible cover in case you wanted Daniel Bryan front and center instead of The Rock.

I’m 940 as of Sunday night. Grinds pull me in for a while but I get tired of them quickly. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be playing this although I’m having a lot of fun with it. I haven’t played Destiny in 2 years so it feels fresh again, but I know repeating all of those weekly challenges will soon get old.
