I agree. It seems odd that they don’t take those 5 cars and simplify down to 2: smallish hatch/sedan between a Focus/Fiesta, and a bigger sedan near the Fusion’s size. Those markets might be dwindling, but gas prices won’t be low forever. At some point this decision will bite Ford in the butt.

I hope all the people who decide to leave Ford give Mazda a look.
