It's an American thing. Small equals econobox, or so it seems. I'd argue a car like a simple road going 208 GTI isn't an econobox and a significantly larger car like a Chevrolet Cruze is, but that might be my European perspective.
This is less about the car and more about the driver. This why I love the national rally championships from Europe and the ERC. I've actually seen Citroen C2s kicking the ass of some EVO VII and IX.
Makes me wanna go hoon my fiat 500 lol
Forgot when 4WD WRC cars were scared of me?
These are the R2 cars of the Belgian Rally Championship. They are not top-level cars and they're not in top-level…
I'm not here from the safety brigade, but I do find Jalopnik's stance on street racing confusing:
"STREET RACING IS THE WORST THING EVER AND WE SHOULD FIND EVERYONE WHO DOES IT AND BEAT THEM WITH A STICK OMGOMGOMG"

We are bringing responsibility back to motorists — they need to be able to drive to the road conditions and their capabilities.
I prefer the Pug. It is just better. Not in any measurable statistic, but better anyway.
Because we don't own them.
Well.....How do you know that he wasn't pushing that Mercedes?
Sweet wagon!
The "requirement" for everything is money.
It's gonna be something like the cost for the cop for at least an hour (they'll make you get AT LEAST something...and it's going to be at least an hour...if not 2 or more) plus some processing fees. You also need to bring your own $1,000,000 (typically) minimum liability insurance policy.
What a colossal waste of money.
Just why? Why the fuck are we paying for this? Why do we NEED this? We haven't had a war that would require a level of this taxpayer wasting bullshittery for almost seventy goddamn years. There are no superpowers to fight. No great enemy leading us into wasteful arms races. Our only arms race is within ourselves, and…
