I am sure there are illegal methods of doing it faster, sure, but I was just making sure you actually meant to say 7 hours. The fastest claimed Cannonball run is, what, like 26 hours 38 minutes, putting them at an average speed of like 100ish? An average of 140 mph is significantly faster than that.

I’m sorry, what? How are you traveling roughly 1,000 miles in 7 hours? You’d be averaging like 140+ mph that entire drive.

I love meaningless stats, as long as they’re correct. In comparison, 86% of Jalopnik readers hate made-up stats.

Some of them do, yep, for sure. I developed quite a few allergies stemming from it and my parents both have lung issues, so there’s that.

This is what I was looking for. All kinds of people smoked with kids/their family in the car back in the day. Hell I remember having to survive in the car, in restaurants, on planes, etc. with smoking parents. Terrible.

She is to clean, or not to clean, that is the question.

I think I just peed a little.

It’s unfortunate the regular GT didn’t look quite as handsome as this (I believe they had different body pieces here and there).

I may be in the minority but I’m not a big snacker! I spend all my food money on main courses and booze.

It’s interesting how wildly different the experiences have been of those reporting on this ... I have been waiting on this game to come out on PC for a while so I’m just going to dive in and hope for the best.

It must be ages since I last bought Doritos because I looked them up and unless you’re buying in bulk, for the most part, you’re absolutely right. Why are they so expensive?

It was worth it just for the Cara Dune. Scratched the itch until the Razor Crest drops.

We’re just letting the Asian manufacturers run rampant in this range. And some really solid stuff from them, too. This doesn’t include all the things you could haggle your way into sub-$20k territory, either. I argued a base Ioniq into the $19ks.

I think the Elantra really is the sweet spot in this range.

Not on topic but I think you’re overpaying for Doritos.

The last thing I expected to read today was that DT’s dream car is a TT.

For whatever reason I read the title as some version of “the joke is The Office cost a cool $60,000 to make” and I was like THERE’S NO WAY THE WHOLE THING WAS THAT CHEAP.

I don’t think anyone’s going to judge you over $5.

People find they want different things when their financial situations change. Suddenly “nice car and reasonable house” guy turns into “yacht and mansion” guy.

I can’t believe anyone thought that was a good idea. If you’re going to have a tactile lever might as well put the controls on it.
