Last night I watched Clan of the Cave Bear. Kind of depressing: the tribe learns that rapists and sexists and tyrants are bad, but they can't figure out how to tolerate difference and strangers. And of course they'll all be extinct in a few years anyway.

I would love to hike or walk or do anything at all, but it has been just unbelievably hot here, and it's still in the upper 90s at like 10pm. I'll get back to exercising in November.
