The U.S. was not scared of the Chinese, what they and the allies Didn't want to start was WWIII. The Korean war was so close to the end of WWII that no one really wanted to start another global conflict and thought it best not to keep the fact that the China was helping under wraps.

If its on xbox I think its fixed. I was having the lock up issue really badly to the point where it would lock up on load up. Went back about 2 days ago and there was a download, and it seems to be fixed now. Can finally play the DLC after the Pirates one.
