Think this is common for teams on deep runs. Many people produce. Someone flirts with historic goodness, there are unexpected heroes, while a few studs slightly underperform, etc., etc. It really starts to look like any stretch of a team playing excellent baseball over ~15 games, right?

If a player could make 25k-50k a year on top of free room & board (and school), I think many could be comfortable enough not to take extra risks to get more money IMHO.
