I do understand the idea of a staff. I also understand the idea of a chain of command and standards and practices. Having worked for a newspaper, the editor-in-chief was responsible for a consistent tone across the varied sections of the paper, as opposed to contradictory tones on any given day.

As an aside, I like the song he performed earlier, but what was with the autotune on every word? He sounded like T-Pain and it ruined the song for me. Maybe it's just me, but that was annoying and it just compounded with the whole interruption thing. It's really tasteless and unfair to the winning artist.
