Go talk to some factory workers who are well represented by their unions (like the auto workers are) before classifying them as crappy jobs: They have good pay, good benefits, regular hours, pensions with health care for them and family when they retire.

Who wants a job in a factory? Someone that needs to pay the rent, put food on the table, pay the bills, put their kids through college so the kids can go on to make make stupid, naive, elitist statements on comment threads.
