I see them running down the highway almost daily - truth be told out of everyone I see Ford test cars the most. I at least see a group of Ford somethings driving down the road everyday. No GTs though :(

That was a poke at Cory over his “strong ties to Flint” as if that has any merit to it; obviously you did not see the joke.

I think the whole auto industry and that being our bread and butter will have more to do with the outcome than governor fuck face.

live in 950sq ft ranch with one bathroom, one TV and no cable. can confirm.

I have some pre-production xbox one controllers that have a similar pattern; it looks pretty out of place, but would be fabulous if I had a matching console!

as someone who used to be the aggressive driver going 85+ every chance I got; pass on the right, pass on the shoulder, pass on on-ramps and off-ramps who has now turned in to drive in the right lane with the cruise at 70mph and pass when I need to, these are my observations:

I like how he has the outline of the track stuck to his steering wheel - I assume for reference

in my experience if you are not entering in to “V4" mode other than down hill you most likely have a heavy foot. certainly down hill you’ll almost always enter in to it, but I’ve experienced it before on slight inclines and flats and of varying speeds - both highway and not. although I have found it doesn’t seem to

there was an LTZ for the model year - it was a 2006 trim level only.

just the other day at work I was rambling on about something I can’t recall and said “firewall” and my co-worker interrupted me and said “bulkhead”. from there it led to the explanation you’ve given below. we do at least use the term “parking brake” around here :D

every now and then my job requires me to go to a factory and I LOVE it. I’ve been to the same GM factory a few times now and I still find myself looking around at everything.

glad I found this. also glad I am not the only one.

I keep all of my cars very clean and judge people on this - more so if you’re a complete slob. people around me know this. I know they know this because more often than not they are saying “sorry my car is dirty, don’t judge me!” in which I usually respond “don’t worry, I am!”

I buy Michelin tires (symmetry or destiny?) on my buick, they usually last around 50k with a few to spare, and I go through them about every two years - three at most.

buick lesabre :D

I got a chuckle out of the whole thing too. GM recently spent $600 million on a new paint shop for the truck plant; what the heck is $290 mil going to do for an entire factory? People who aren’t really in the industry are easy to spot

$7,000 will buy a really nice Buick LeSabre

occasionally I have a bug about selling one of mine - but they’ve just been too damn reliable. they might be old but they haven’t let me down. no reason to get rid of them!

I currently own a 2004 Buick Park avenue and a 2004 Buick LeSabre. Both were bought with low miles (under 30k & 40k respectively) from older people who had bought the car new (imagine that!).

I believe it was the lower intake manifold gasket and I also believe it was the earlier models - the last few years 03-05 are safe to my knowledge, but I could be wrong. I guess I’ll find out eventually :D
