I keep all of my cars very clean and judge people on this - more so if you’re a complete slob. people around me know this. I know they know this because more often than not they are saying “sorry my car is dirty, don’t judge me!” in which I usually respond “don’t worry, I am!”

I buy Michelin tires (symmetry or destiny?) on my buick, they usually last around 50k with a few to spare, and I go through them about every two years - three at most.

buick lesabre :D

I got a chuckle out of the whole thing too. GM recently spent $600 million on a new paint shop for the truck plant; what the heck is $290 mil going to do for an entire factory? People who aren’t really in the industry are easy to spot

$7,000 will buy a really nice Buick LeSabre

occasionally I have a bug about selling one of mine - but they’ve just been too damn reliable. they might be old but they haven’t let me down. no reason to get rid of them!

I currently own a 2004 Buick Park avenue and a 2004 Buick LeSabre. Both were bought with low miles (under 30k & 40k respectively) from older people who had bought the car new (imagine that!).

I believe it was the lower intake manifold gasket and I also believe it was the earlier models - the last few years 03-05 are safe to my knowledge, but I could be wrong. I guess I’ll find out eventually :D

I currently own two GMT-400s - 99 GMC Yukon and a 97 GMC Sierra (selling the yukon). Also currently own a GMT-900, previously owned two GMT-800s as well.

this is a shit design. would I be able to figure it out and get used to it? probably. but I think there are plenty of people who wouldn’t (old people anyone?). as an engineer in just about everything I do I need to first consider safety and next the lowest common denominator - who’s the dumbest person that’s going to

I have lusted after one of these cars since its’ inception. very sad to see it go.

I say take whatever money you’re willing to spend on a lease and buy a reliable used car out-right. I have a five year old truck I like to keep the miles & salt off of and not beat the shit out of - so I just bought a 19 year old truck to beat up. cost me a helluva lot less than a lease!

I fucking hate red cars. But I absolutely love red interiors

where’s that bose suspension when you need it

I’m still not sure which is more realistic:

I just want to say I have always loved that old chevy truck commercial, and I love how at 9-seconds they completely fucked a truck up just to make a commercial.

this is why we can’t have nice things

it’s because people are stupid and the only direction they look is forward.

false! he can buy this! :D

sometime in the last five years (give or take) I literally saw the exact car pictured at the top of this article driving around the GM Milford Proving grounds and caught it on the highway once or twice. No camo. Opel Badges. Same red color. the whole thing.
