wow - what a surprise! [/sarcasm]
I’ve been driving for 15 years now. Shortly after getting my first car I bought a $30 cobra 6-band radar detector that I still use today.
232,000 (and counting) fools and their money are soon parted...
no doubt in my mind we are decades out from the fully autonomous cars we’re all really expecting. sure - we already have some autonomy, e.g. driving down the freeway, but I think we’ll be making baby steps for a long time to come. by the time fully autonomous cars are here it will be a large mix of fully autonomous…
I agree.
on the subject of autonomous cars and our inevitable future I want you to picture this:
this is what test engineers are for.
I hate parking on the street and avoid it at all costs.
what if your aunt had balls? she’d be your uncle.
if the scenario is that there is a convoy of semi trucks, or multiple slow-pokes in the right lane and you have no safe option to merge over - then sure. Your option is either A) go for an “extended pass” or B) get stuck in the right lane for 17 miles. I know the scenario you speak of and it happens often.
as a right-lane slow poke that is life. you are always going to have to pass semi trucks. there will always be people who are more of a slow poke from you. stay out of the passing lane except when passing.
P.S. Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler.
those are impressive numbers. their worst tank exceeds even my best tank on my truck. I would trade in my truck in a heart beat - if only it weren’t a product of FCA
I will preface my review by saying I don’t use either of these apps on my daily commute because I A) know how to get to work and B) there really are no other routes. I only use maps when I literally don’t know where I’m going or where I’m at.
while I have yet to see a RHD car with an M plate here in Michigan. I do recall seeing the “opel” astra driving down the road a few years before we got the “saturn” astra. I also saw the opel insignia wagon around the proving grounds and was so excited thinking there was going to be a buick regal wagon - sadly, I have…
CP - for that price I’m getting myself a decent GMT800. Very reliable (in my experience) and parts galore when they aren’t.
of course that was BS. not a snowball’s chance in hell one guy did all of this.
