unfortunately and almost without fail - everytime a cop has someone pulled over you have people slamming on their brakes and three lanes merging in to two (or two in to one) and all of the sudden the entirety of traffic is going 20mph. It seems the majority of people move over and slow down.

my state has a “move over” law for emergency vehicles. the law actually states “move over or slow down”. I typically do not move over and take the option of slowing down because that’s much safer for everyone; instead of slamming on our brakes, everyone merging to a single lane and then driving 20mph on the freeway.…

here they will slow down to 20mph on the freeway for someone pulled over.

sports cars are for RACING. That’s the whole point of the big, powerful engine. Whether it’s tearing up the twisties or laying rubber down the 1/4 mile. WHY are you driving a sports car if you are not racing?!

you will see all sorts of “factory take-offs” for sale on eBay - anywhere from $1000-$2000 for these sets of wheels. I would not be overly surprised if many of those are actually stolen wheels.

when I bought my last vehicle (2011) the salesman had mentioned that thieves would steal the wheels off vehicles, break in and remove radios, etc. This was a fairly large, well known dealership - in an upper middle-class area on a very busy and very well lit street.
