Just watched the first episode - its an anthology closer to American horror story.

I’m excited about this one while being ambivalent on Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Whatever happened to that show? I watched the first season by streaming it off Amazon and really liked it and then it kinda disappeared...

I was intrigued enough by the basic world to watch it for about 5 seasons. Every season was “Go somewhere new, think it’s great, meet new people, fight, run away, rinse and repeat”.  Maybe it got better. But to do that they need to try something really new.

Perhaps. Perhaps at some point it became truly great. I gave it 5 seasons and kept getting basically the same plot every season so all I can judge it on is 5 years worth of it... I figure that is handing a show a decent chance to prove itself, though.

Wait - TWD still exists?

In all honesty I kinda hope that studios keep releasing their movies to streaming on day one... It lets me avoid annoying theater goers and also let’s me pee when I feel like it by hitting pause rather than waiting for a lull.

Snyders Justice League is a decent take on the movie. Not perfect by any means but at least a heck of a lot better than the frankensteins monster of a movie we got a couple years ago.

After Man of Steel and Batman V Superman I never thought I’d say this but... Snyders Justice League is good. Very good. Not perfect, it could have been edited down a bit and if he removed half of the slow motion it’d be 30 minutes shorter... but it’s really quite good and I’d have liked to see where he was going with

That was my understanding as well : That white vision just got his memories unlocked.

I was disappointed but... I don’t think it was the show that was entirely at fault for it. It’s obvious Marvel planted things in the show to make the viewers come to certain conclusions as red herrings but then again... it was me that took the bait and wanted to see them.

Of course... if the show wanted to be really clever they could address these problems. Lois could have seen that Clarks yearning for his childhood that he could impart on the kids could have made her decide to get financial help from Luthor to buy a house in Smallville without Clark knowing and that could lead to fun

So let’s up that after the pulitzer was won to be up to $200k per year. If she had that gross income it boils down to about $120k/year of income for, say, 20 years. If she had no expenses while living in Metropolis (Since I don’t have the math in front of me to figure out how much that’d cost, woudln’t be cheap for

Just did a quick search online and fond the salary for a top reporter for NYT is $128k-$141K. Not a bad income but hardly enough to buy a $3 or 4 million home out of pocket without feeling it.

It always makes me smile how in the DC Universe reporters are well paid, kinda famous and widely read... when they work for a newspaper. In real life, people like Lois would be upper middle class but buying a house like the one here would be a serious financial risk for them.

Bingo. I mean, sure, I enjoy the MCU as much as the next person but I’d rather see movies like that at least balanced with smaller scale stuff like this...

Debris sounds a bit like the first season of “The 4400"...

Is Agatha “Irredeemably evil”? I mean, she has said she is curious how Wanda harnessed her power without training, she seems alarmed at having the Scarlet Witch running around doing as she pleases and her actions are directed at the kids... who may not even be entirely real. She only reacted to her coven when they

Also... Wanda’s version of Vision is made of Vibranium. I’d think an org like SWORD might actually be interested in someone that can manifest that material out of thin air rather than depending on Wakanda to sell it to them...

I just wrote it up to SWORD going out of it’s way to not let anyone know about what was goin on un Westview. Maybe the Avengers would show up but they haven’t heard about it.
