I disagree that they’ve run out of ideas. I just think the showrunners are tired of GoT and want to make their stupid slave show. There are plenty of good major plot beats in these episodes. They just don’t let anything breath (so many good scenes that could have used more time: Jorah/Dany reunion, Jamie/Tyrion…

Wouldn’t be much of a reason for Dany to stick around with her dragons if the whole party was dead. Makes sense for him to leave them for the trap. It’s much more worth his while to have an undead dragon then 7 dead schmucks.

For the nominees I would take black-ish over Modern Family and Silicon Valley. No way does it deserve an Emmy in that field. The show is way too “safe” for my tastes.

You do know the more kids you have the less individual attention you can give them, right? I’m sure they already have a nanny for their kid. The solution to lack of quality time with your kid is not to have another kid and then get an additional nanny or pay the current one to stay longer.

I have the same question about network television in general. Whether it’s this, Big Bang Theory, one of the 700 CSI’s. I don’t know a person in real life under 40 who watches any of these things. There are so many options out there, yet people still watch this dreck.

Considering Uncle Joe’s age I could see a Biden/Patrick ticket winning and Biden bowing out after one term. Assuming it was a solid administration Patrick could segue that into being a two-term President and we can get 12 straight years of a Democrat in the WH.
