What if I want to read in the dark?

I can unfortunately never purchase like this. When I buy a game it's with the intention of playing it (almost) immediately. I don't like having a backlog. Backlogs typically mean I'll never play it because something else will come out that I want to play more by the time I get around too it.

Real books haven't been made obsolete by eBooks either. What's your point?

I'm loving the online multiplayer for MK8 much more than I thought I would. I have no friends who own a Wii U so playing with strangers didn't seem all that appealing. But battling to get top 3 in those races is so much more fun than just getting first every time in 150 cc single player.

I don't think anyone is asking you to feel sorry for him. The reality is that he could have held out for a Joe Flacco type contract and SOMEONE would have paid him that money. He could easily have pulled in $18 million a year without the level of risk he's assuming in terms of his production.
