No, I'm engaged. I just choose to think with my brain instead of my penis.

Well I do wear a a suit to work everyday.... But I'm mostly talking about media portrayals of thin men (I.e. nerds, geeks, gay, etc.)

This is the most dipshit thing I've ever read. Sorry but I'm a whole lot more complicated than that. I've never been manipulated by sex in my life and I don't plan to start.

Here you go: http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/04/opinion/bennett-men-in-trouble/index.html

I also live in the real world and see real women all day, every day. You're talking as if I live in a cave sitting in front of the TV getting all my ideas of what a real woman looks like from the entertainment industry.

I apologize for that terrible display of grammar. Just *my comment and *negative about women. Sorry!

See instead of taking my my comment at face value you tried to twist it into something that is negative about woman. sailorpluto nailed what I actually meant. My point is that women who aren't thinner than I am, are comparable in weight or height (which is rare because I am 6 ft) wouldn't view someone like myself as a

As great as these anecdotes are that is like me telling you that I prefer a normal sized and shaped woman to those pictured in television and magazine ads. Its nice to hear but we all know what the prevailing opinion is.

I guess I should have worded it differently. This is the reason I hate being thin and sometimes would rather be "husky" is this reason you mentioned above. I'm not a fan of stick thin women myself and thus it presents a problem.

Great response.

When you find women who "value" thin men, please let me know. I've been trying to gain weight my whole life to no avail. It's muscular or nothing with this "perfect" male form. Thin would be great, its a lot easier to work 60 hours a week and eat less than work 60 hours a week and find time to exercise.

He did mean the population of Providence and 178,000 is indeed accurate.

Yup, 1-2 it's officially over. No one has recovered from that kind of start before.

How come its not bashing all the women that are going to vote for him then?

I'm sure you're aware of the phrase: "Two wrongs don't make a right". That applies here. When men "talk about women like they're vermin" do you examine their views with any shred of credibility? I thought not. So, what makes you think doing it in the reverse would have some sort of positive effect?

Or you could simply realize that men are just as diverse in opinion and values as women... just a thought

Yay! More ridiculous whitewashing of men courtesy of the rag that is Jezebel!
