Had a lady down on the coast (5+ hours away) buy a 500c and trade in a Chrysler 300 but she wasn't able to come get it so she offered to let me stay at her B&B on the beach for a night if I brought the car down to her. I got as much information as I could about her trade to get an accurate value before making the

We had one couple buy a new 500 Turbo for their daughter. It had been sitting on the lot for a WHILE (a full year I believe) and we needed to sell it so we made them a break-even deal on it to get it done and get rid of it. I let them test drive it by themselves because that's what they insisted on, it was after

Three of those are Fiat companies so... Fiat FTW!!!

To be fair, they came out with two new ads in the same day. The other is less insane and I thought it was funny. They also came out with another funny or die video that is pretty hilarious. Point is, Fiat at least wasn't putting all their eggs in that one, incredibly insane, basket.

Okay, just to be clear, you're confusing indecision with the internet speculating on what they think Fiat is doing and being wrong.

We actually figured out which dealer it was and talked to their manager; they don't have any 500Ls right now for that much off. The TrueCar price was on a base manual 500L Trekking that they don't have and their manager made it clear they weren't taking that much off of the ones they have in stock.

Ehh I work at a Fiat dealer and just had a guy come in with a TrueCar price page saying he should get a new 500L Trekking automatic for $17k which is beyond stupid. Base price is $22k, we have less than $1,000 between invoice and MSRP and $1,500 in rebates. IF he had a lease from another brand Fiat will give $1,000

I think people need to remember one very important thing: the average person that buys a Jeep product will never take it off road, and that includes Wranglers and is almost infinitely more true for Grand Cherokees, Liberties, and any of the small Jeeps like the new Renegade. I've owned one Wrangler and am an

This is the exact same thing that happened when they used the new test for small cars a couple months ago; everything failed except the latest GM car that was designed FOR the new tests.

Reviewing a car and owning one are two different things. I have zero doubt that the Porsche is more refined and probably faster. Any reviewer would be stupid to not pick that car. But I would still buy the Alfa without a 2nd thought every single time. Yes it will weight a couple hundred more pounds and you won't

It's an ALFA though!!! Sure the Porsche is the more logical choice but it's also the boring choice. No one interesting will ever choose a Porsche over an Alfa Romeo. The Porsche is well engineered and fast, luxurious and refined. The Alfa is basic and bare bones. It has ridiculous headlights and no power

Screw the Miata, I want info on the Fiat/Abarth/Alfa that's going to be the same thing but awesomer

Wow, obviously Top Gear should do it. I feel like that's obvious. There technically is an American HQ as long as they don't let that awful bunch be involved in any way.

I totally agree with the article about the FRS/BRZ salespeople being generally clueless. I test drove an FRS at a fairly large dealer in Jackson, MS shortly after they came out. The only manual they had was up on a pad in front of the dealer, near the road. Of course, it was locked up so I had to go inside and find

I would rather drive/own it as an Alfa, but as someone that works at a Fiat dealer that is hurting badly, we really need something like this to get sales up and since we have NO IDEA when/if we'll ever get Alfa, a Fiat/Abarth roadster sounds much better than maybe or maybe not ever getting a cooler Alfa version.

I loved the Abarth Experience! Had a blast at Daytona in 2012 and have since done a lot of autocross and trackdays! It's a great introduction to tracking an Abarth and there really are some excellent instructors there. You meet a ton of great people and get to beat the crap out of Abarths all day!

Just a few thoughts, keeping sport mode off does NOT make an Abarth like a regular 500. You get slightly less boost and you have to push the throttle further for full throttle but it's not that bad. Also, ESC will not kick on if you're driving smoothly on the track (and you should be). I did mine at Daytona and it

Agreed, I work at a Fiat dealer and I get asked ALL THE TIME why our 500L (crossover) doesn't come in a convertible like the Murano... I'm so tempted to point at the door and say "Leave now!!" when I hear that!

If you smugly correct, criticize, and/or judge people for pronouncing names of foreign cars and manufacturers incorrectly, then you'd better roll the R's in Ferrari or you're a hypocrite that should maybe just shut up and mind your own damn business.

An MP4-12C? Nice! Every police station needs a microwave!
