this video has an example of the night look i'm talking about

as much as I loved the look of the film in general I don't really understand the day for night sequence. i get that they overexposed in daylight and then ran it through heavy grading but in my opinion it didn't look very good. maybe i took it too literally and it was more an artistic expression, but that whole

I've been waiting patiently for this one!

You are correct that it is digital rather than the true 70mm film camera, but it isn't exactly "just another alexa" because it is using a brand new 65 mm sensor.

it will mean more expensive, and if you don't have a laser imax theater near you it won't have an impact.

oh duh! thanks

Given that most IMAX (fake) theatres are 1.9 and the Alexa's native is 2.1 I find if somewhat unlikely that the camera will shoot in 1.44. It might be possible for them to do some kind of crop like I think they did with pacific rim?

What were the night vision goggles for? Did they even use them?

anyone else think "adama's little secret" is xena?

this is why i used to love kanye

needs more lars von trier

Awesome but didn't he mack on like two chicks in the original films?

this is so funny because the kids who saw toy story 1 in theaters are all grown up and dating/marrying now.

according tho this site the above comment is a joke:

just noticed person of interests person of interest this week is going to star in true detective as well. Adria Arjona as Emily.

Amazing series, just avoid the fudge cream reviews, he dunks them in milk without even taking a bite out of them and it's painful to watch.

fun fact: elias's weapon vault is actually new york's very own gun prop house 'The Specialists LTD'.

Pretty sure my three-way with the Doctor is now a four-way.

"For a split second, I thought Claire was going to travel back to the 1940s and Frank was going to simultaneously travel to 1743" hah my mom said the same thing i was like no way

I like how the lead characters are adults, as many of these 'fantasy' type stories involve child or adolescent protagonists.
