I think we should all go to the Winchester and have a pint until this all blows over

Yeah that definitely a part of it. I just wish the left wasnt responding in kind.

Wow the guy who tells jokes about current events for a living told a joke about current events and now he’s a “disgusting pig”.

Finished Pyre last weekend. It wasn’t a bad game, but it never did the thing that Bastion or Transistor did, which is to make me consider playing the game a second time, to get a better sense of the narrative. As I suspected in my comments from last week, the pacing does pick up after the first liberation rite. I

I feel like I barely did the side activities in Persona 5 because I was too busy trying to up my social links. I think I went fishing a grand total of once. If I were to do a New Game+ (which I probably won’t, since there are too many games to play), then I’d probably pursue an entirely different set of activities.

Love that Bastion soundtrack. There is a sort of sitar-like “shit just got real” riff that sometimes plays when the Gasfellas (a.k.a. Evil Orko’s) come out, and that stuck with me for weeks. Gotta go back to Transistor so I can hear that whole soundtrack again. All I remember is a whole lot of reverb.

Analysis: Garbage

My only experience with Ys is the first set of games released on the Turbogrfx-16 and the SEGA Master System waaaay back when, where those titles were at the time seen as counterparts to the traditional Zelda template.

Ok. I will probably head along to those. See how many upvotes I can cultivate from Civ2 replay write-ups.

So true. And did you get to see that outstanding Sunday event with Kawakami and Ryuji to boot? Lots of stellar locale centered sequences in that game.

Just last weekend I finished off another playthrough of Knights of the Old Republic. Gotta be fair to Carth; he may be poorly animated and not well voice-acted, but this time around (my 3rd) I came to really appreciate his “there is fuckery afoot, and I shall not stand for it!” attitude.

I’m not exactly expert on matters Tolkien, but is it even the case that Orcs have free will in the first place? I thought that they were basically driven by Sauron to do as he willed. In a sense, they are already mind-controlled, having already been created an indoctrinated by the forces of evil, I don’t think it’s

/cheer once again on your journey through Supergiant’s catalog of titles! Concurred to the nth degree on Transistor. Such a sharp style and focused energy in all those animations and backgrounds. And the character biographies linked to all your abilities emblematic of their personalities. AND especially Red using the

I’m glad you’re enjoying Stardew Valley so much! For my 2¢, what I’ve liked most about life sims in the past is the controlled routine of it all. I can determine the pace and the focus of that routine, and I maintain it at my volition.

Salutations~!

Last week, I mentioned I’ve been looking for something new to play in the time after I’ve beaten all but Route E of NieR: Automata but before Mario Odyssey drops (well, something other than Picross S, which is, you know, Picross, but not exactly upending the tea table). To be honest, I’m pretty awful at decisiveness,

Agreed. Maybe alright to ask on the “Is Trump predicted by Final Fantasy 7?” article, not so much this one.

Sure, but I don’t think you have to carry a BLM sign in your off hours to talk about the themes of enslavement in this game and whether they succeed at looking at all facets of that them, just as you wouldn’t actually have to have a signed copy of Atlas Shrugged in your back pocket to talk about the themes of personal

Yeah, no problem. But you should also know that not every review (and remember, this is one part of a multi-part analysis) goes into stuff like this.

My God! That orc in the top picture looks exactly like my high school yearbook photo.
