SandwichOfFarts made some good points, but Fartsandwich was right to interject.

Ugh, sincerity… *flaps hands about as if trying to remove hagfish slime*

No it..wait..I mean you should…huh?

'…and then Michael shuts the door…on Annie Hall…'

That's not a joke so much as a thing kids do and several rugby songs

Or - capers are the best!!!

Tang is for the children's menu

'like a sneeze'?

They're gonna grow up juuuust fine

sssssssmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggg

Why do you think acceptance of a kink negates the possibility of trauma? It would suggest the presence of trauma if anything

That's true, but there are many many war movies that don't glamorize war and raise interesting questions about humanity…

Nothing as interesting as the man/animal conflict in previous entries though imo…each character's motivations are made clear immediately in this one, and nearly always come down to 'he was scared'

That's true, but then he also fights to protect other ape. We can see from the start of the movie that they are no strangers to riding into war, with their own weapons and techniques even, and with Caesar in charge.

Yeah, but the other modern Apes were SO tight that the lil' love handles on this one stood out a bit more

Nobody was saying that…how do you think the internal war was conveyed in the movie? I thought there was far less of that kind of thing in this one

But it had the most blockbuster bloat!

Oh yeah I don't think it should have been darker at all, I think it was dark enough already. Unless Iggy was saying 'Well if you make it THIS dark why not acknowledge it with some nice misery scenes, take it next level?' in which case I sort-of agree

I'm confused by your last section, are you saying the other two movies were more grim than this one, so it's a good job they ended it on a high because who could take three movies of sadness?

The avalanche=nature in this sense tho
