That’s actually a good idea. Studio pictures and indies really are different animals. You really can’t compare them.

NIAGARA FALLS! I remember it like it was yesterday. Slowly, I turned. Step by step, inch by inch.... (I’m sorry, has someone done that bit already?)
Kazaa. Now, that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time ... a long time.
He’s dressed as the 1970s movie character Billy Jack, for some reason. https://thedissolve.com/features/forgotbusters/593-forgotbusters-billy-jackthe-trial-of-billy-jack/
We’ve just learned that the beloved Minnesota skyscraper raccoon is racist.
I remember thinking at the time it was like Ewan McGregor’s scenes had been spliced in from a lighter, much better movie. I blame Lucas. You had terrific actors like Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson giving some of the worst line readings of their careers.
Watching the original Season 4 was like watching the Star Wars prequels; I watched it out of a sense of obligation, not because I actually enjoyed it. The remix is much better. It’s still not great, but it flows better, it makes more sense, and it’s funnier. Also, while it’s great that Netflix gave Hurwitz the money…
Sunday morning Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues in Disney Springs (used to be called Downtown Disney). Good food, good and sometimes great music. Saw the Blind Boys of Alabama there once.
It’s easy to miss, but there’s a Coca-Cola attraction in Epcot called Club Cool where you can try free Coke products from around the world. Some are great, like Kinley, a lemon-flavored soda from Israel.
If you’re an adult, go when the kids are in school. Generally, Orlando is least crowded after Labor Day weekend and before fall break. We went to the Magic Kingdom once a couple of weeks after Labor Day and rode Space Mountain, like, five times in a row. Expedition Everest, too.
“Oh, we’re using our made-up names. Then I am Spider-Man.” That’s funny, right there, I don’t care who y’are.
I second the vote for catching a movie at the Enzian and for taking a road trip to Kennedy Space Center.
I do the same thing. Whenever I drive through a shopping mall, I can’t help but whistle “I Can’t Turn You Loose,” like I’m a Blues Brother.
> Isn’t that a better explanation than aliens?
Congratulations! I lost about 80 pounds in a year, and I’ve lost about 10 pounds in the year since. I started with portion control and walking, then graduated to counting calories and running. I aimed for 1,500 calories a day, which sounds drastic but really isn’t. I just stopped eating crap and drinking sugary drinks…
Cutting the cord doesn't necessarily mean doing without live TV. I have a ClearStream 2-V antenna in the attic that pulls in a ton of local channels, including live sports. I keep up with "Mad Men" by subscribing to the series on Amazon Instant (2 bucks an episode for 13 episodes per season); I have to wait an extra…
