I felt uncomfortable around them, and instead of making them uncomfortable with my discomfort, I chose to remain in my discomfort.

I read it as the standard “tough guy” dad thing of being antsy to shoot potential (male) suitors of their daughter. But given the source, it could possibly be that he views a personal arsenal as a prerequisite.  Hell, it could even be both.   

Speaking as a bald man, that’s not a receding hairline. That’s a hairline in full retreat. That’s a surrendered hairline. That is a hairline that has conceded all terms in its battle with the scalp.

I’m confused why everyone thinks we SHOULDN’T prioritize schools and teachers? We should be shutting down restaurants and bars and ensuring schools stay open. It’s been documented that kids are falling behind, and this is affecting poorer and minority students without access to resources more than other kids.
