I wonder, from a player’s perspective, if setting the NBA record for wins wouldn’t actually be better than another Championship, if you had to chose (not sure the Warriors do). It’s certainly a much rarer achievement.

Worth noting that dating culture has changed a lot in the last 45 years, and behavior that was actually pretty normal/common then is considered unusual/moving too fast now. The norms also change as you age, and people on the other side of 30 often meet, date, and get engaged faster than younger people.
