Two common thought processes I see. I got mine so fuck you. Or I have it hard so you should too.

But the number of hours on set are the reason why there’s an investigation. What sense would it have made for the article to explain there was an investigation “for some reason /waves hands”?

There is so much disheartening snark on here towards Apa. Over the past few years there have been fatal accidents due to on-set negligence - stunt people have died and actors have been injured. Understandably actors teams are upset that their clients aren’t being taken care of and instead put into situations like this

The long day is the point of the issue. Actors are working 16, 18 hour days and not being taken care of by the studios or production companies. Accidents like this keep happening, whether it’s actors crashing their cars or stunt people getting into serious accidents due to negligence.

I don’t understand this thread. There’s plenty of research showing that driving tired is as bad or worse than driving drunk. Just because someone gets paid more doesn’t mean they don’t also deserve safe working conditions. Just like social work and other long hours, high pressure jobs both a) should pay more and b)

For all of you saying “wahhh, my job is hard and I work long hours too, suck it up”:

To show that he isn’t a drug addict. I mean jeez - that could be a career killer and who wants the rumors that you need rehab when you were exhausted? It happens anyway (the never ending rumors that Selena Gomez doesn’t have lupus but she is a drug addict for example) but his PR team undoubtedly thinks it is better to

Agreed. This is not about hurt feelings. This is about someone who is still plugging away, in a position of power, still insisting on doing the right things. He’s still working in this climate of insanity and uncertainty. I don’t want him stepping away.

More Sanders voters supported Clinton in 2016 than Clinton voters supported Obama in 2012. Most of Bernie Sanders’ votes in the primary actually came from women. Yet the narrative is a tiny plurality of men while no one wants to talk about the complete racism among a larger number of Clinton supporters in 2012.

Seems like concern trolling. He has 80% Democratic support at this point, 73% among African-Americans (his most fervent group) — which means only 20% of Democrats aren’t part of the tail wind behind him. Why would he step back when he’s literally the most popular politician in the country and the new functioning head

You think he was an opportunist? He was a POLITICIAN doing his fucking job rather than cozying up to Democrat Wall Street thugs who are just as greedy as fucking GOP wolves. You people are so full of shit. As knick says below,. yeah, the guy leading the charge on medicare for all is a fucking opportunist....a fucking

You mean like Hillary in the 08 campaign when she refused to step back despite Obama clearly winning, using racialized language throughout, and then evoking fucking assassination as a reasons she was staying the race?

You fucking idiots have been had by one of the most arrogant grifters of modern politics just because

“Would have been better than Trump” is a helluva career epitaph. Silver lining: she didn’t get to continue the regime-change binge she and Kerry helped Obama with.

THANK YOU!!! And she played into Xenophobia and Islamophobian against Obama back in 08. When I reminded folks of this a lot of white feminists accused my black female self of being sexist ...

She voted to invade Iraq because of 9/11. She’s a fucking idiot and a monster. Plus she’s been working on behalf of Wall Street for decades. Fuck Hillary.

Probably never going to read this, but I did hear her interview on Pod Save America, and I felt no worse about her not winning the presidency. She isn’t what many conservatives say she is, but the criticism from the further left groups is apt. And she sounded like she felt we and the media failed her more than she

She really can’t say she didn’t know there was racism, given that it was the core of her 2008 campaign.

I’m not sure she’s “telling it like it is” when she can’t even keep her story straight for a page. The most widely circulated selection can’t decide whether Sanders was copying her but bigger or she was coming out with moderated versions of his proposals. This selection also shows one of the biggest problems she has:

At the end of the day she lost and this is all her fault. Yes there was sexism but she couldn’t even win white women. Yes there was racism but unless she was sleeping for the last 8 years she should have been prepared for the backlash to Obama. Yes she won the popular vote but those were the rules to the game going

Sorry about your baby.
