Hey Kirk, the title Fragile is a very serious statement about the fragility of Mother Earth. Did you not see the beautiful Roger Dean painting of Gaia on the cover of the album?? A lot of people just want to pollute Her and take away Her natural resources. But Yes knows that Mother Earth needs our love and care, just

I'll definitely seek out the Synapse release. Most recently I watched it via a VHS I'd had sitting around forever. It's possible I had actually watched that exact copy before.

It wasn't a choice between the two (though I probably would have picked Dante, only because I haven't seen all that many of McElwee's films, and my girlfriend had never seen either Gremlins film (!!!)). I just couldn't make it out to the McElwee screening due to a prior commitment.

I love Mulaney. He's got the impeccable rhythm and slow-burn style of a young Shelley Berman. This kid's goin' places, I tell ya!
